Simple interferometric autocorrelation measurements using an acousto-optic programmable dispersive filter

Résumé

The basic autocorrelation measurement consists of a series of energy measurement of the output pulse and/or a corresponding frequency doubled pulse produced by a nonlinear mixer. In our experiments, we have used the recently introduced acousto-optic programmable dispersive filter, (Dazzlers), which consists of a TeO/sub 2/ crystal of 25 mm length with appropriate transducers and an arbitrary waveform RF generator.
