Femtosecond mid-infrared study of electron dynamics in self-organized InAs quantum wires on InAlAs/InP (001)

Abstract : We performed pump-mid-infrared-probe measurements in InAs/InAIAs selforganized quantum wires and observed a fast (3-ps) electron capture time from the barrier to the ground state and, at higher densities, a contribution of Coulomb-collision processes.
