Revisiting the identification of distributed elastic coefficients in anisotropic media

The inverse problem discussed here is the identification of the distributed elastic moduli from overspecified boundary conditions. We present an extension of the classical result of Ikehata from the case of an isotropic material, for a class of anisotropic materials with cubic and orthotropic symmetry.
